The best wienerschnitzel I have ever tried, tender, flavourful, and very generously sized. The place had a cozy and warm admosphere. The owners are the best, very nice people, working in their own restaurant.

Really delicious food. I had my irish coffee changed to the most delicious elderflower Gin🥂. I was happy and it made my day 🥂. I give top stars because they were willing to change my request in a nice way.

My girlfriend and I visited Det Gamle Posthus in Allinge on 10 September, where my girlfriend and I got a really nice cup of coffee and a very delicious waffle cake as well as very friendly service! My boyfriend and I returned to Bornholm a few days before Christmas 2023, as we wanted to spend our first Christmas and New Year on the island. Since we are both not the best in a kitchen but would like to have something delicious and support the island's restaurants, etc., we chose to order the large take away package from Det Gamle Posthus. We ordered both the Christmas menu, Christmas lunch and New Year's menu. It was simply one fantastic taste experience after another!.... In addition, very nice dishes!... The meat for New Year's, veal tenderloin, was so tender you could pull it apart with your fingers! It was so delicious!!.... The quality has been at the very highest level on all dishes, lots of fantastic taste, large portions and not least and not to forget, we have had fantastic service and management throughout..... They are the sweetest, weirdest and friendliest employees you meet in the Old Post House in Allinge. When I return to the island, this place is high on my list of places to visit again! ....⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️....
