Piola Pastificio Frederiksberg

16/03/2024: Had a good lunch at Sans Souci. I got a glass of Riesling and ordered gougeres as starters. Stinky french food as usual :) For main dish I got recommended to order poisson à la meunière, which I did. In all honesty, it was terrible. It tasted so so bad, I had to send it back and I never send anything back. The staff was so kind to bring me a pepper steak instead, which was absolutely wonderful. For dessert, I treated myself to an apple tarte tartin along with a cup of coffee. It was so wholesome, loved it. The interior of the restaurant is really beautiful and really gives the impression that this is a 122 year old establishment. The staff is very helpful and kind. Except the fish, everything was just fine.

04/03/2024: This is a Copenhagen dining legacy place (has a long and strong history), which is felt with the ambience in the dining rooms. The restaurant is serving French cooking (Brasserie style) with both menu and a la carte, and the food is absolutely fine and tasty. Waiters are splendid, polite and will give you good advice. You feel welcome. I was accompanied by a date, and we chose a 3 cours serving and a splendid glass of wine. With the espresso the bill ended at appr. 1.200 DKK. We were both very pleased with the visit, and highly recommend this restaurant.
