It has been absolutely fantastic, but after the new menu, where, among other things, the shooting stars have become worse and the omelette with salmon has disappeared, and with changes in wine by the glass, we unfortunately have to look elsewhere.

Probably the best place in town! I've been here countless times, and the food has always been absolutely perfect. The service is simple, but very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it!

A truly lovely restaurant situated right on the water. We've eaten here several times and can only say that we really like it. The food is delicious. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly.

Visiting my boyfriend in Denmark all the way from Malaysia and we had our date here. Most of the food was soooo good! We ate here 3 times when I was there. My fav foods were Nordisk lask, Bøf bearnaise

Very friendly service, three great burgers, and a delicious salmon salad. And the best part: almost everything was available in a gluten-free version, completely unfussy and at no extra charge. Highly recommended!

29/03/2026: Thank you for a lovely weekend stay from Friday to Sunday with a 2-course menu and breakfast both days. Delicious delicious 2-course evening menu. Good service and delicious wine. Cozy decor. The breakfast buffet was good and there was nothing missing. There were many good things to choose from. Really good coffee and soft-boiled eggs. Sweet service and it was replenished all the time. The room was nice and it was clean and tidy. The Cottage has a good location and you can walk to Nysted. We would love to come again.
22/03/2026: Celebrated a birthday with brunch, it was so cozy and a really good brunch buffet and great service from the staff. Highly recommended
