A-Kin Thai Aarhus

Wonderful Tom yum soup. I mean it was Da Bomb! Really good...It makes you wish they served it in ten gallon bowls. ( a few more mushrooms would be even better. But man they know what they are doing with the soup biz.) The spring rolls make we wish i had sprung over them cause - nothing special there, I was hoping for this crisp, crunch meaty filled savory flavor over glass noodles and veggies... but that was not what I got. They were ok but nothing special. The thai land chicken satay was good, the Chicken was tender juicy and nicely flavored with light spices and the peanut satay was excellent. The larb Moo --- I ordered extra strong... I got it served as a mild slightly spicey with a hint of ka - chow!! soo it was a bit disappointing. I mean it tasted fine. But it didnt leave me with the feeling of mmmmm this is spicey and sooo good. Prices are ok. This was my first time trying A - kin Thai perhaps the next time it will be more exciting. ( They are quick have to give them that.)

Food is authentic, and the restaurant has a really cozy vibe!

Amazing Thai cuisine in the heart of Aarhus. The restaurant had a really nice ambience and amazing food ( I had the pad kra pow with rice ). The server, Vince, was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again!

I had salmon in red curry which tasted good but was really strong. My wife had chicken in sweet and sour sauce, it was nothing to write home about... the atmosphere was a bit weird, with a very awkward waiter, and a very Danish atmosphere in the kitchen. Really good starters though!!

Cozy and calm atmosphere. Good acoustics and, not least, fantastically delicious food.

We had made the mistake of ordering takeaway with a gift card that could only be used for the sit-down. The owner was extremely polite, however, and ended up making an exception and letting us use the gift card anyway. On top of that, it was really delicious food.

Nice place. Good food and good service in pleasant surroundings. We took an Early Bird deal which is really value for money. Good selection. Beautifully presented dishes with fresh vegetables that tasted really good. The only complaint, which may seem a little strange, is that my Pad Se-ew m. beef should have had more noodles and maybe a little less filling. But it is entirely at your own expense. Great recommendation from here.
