Very nicely renovated buildings and interesting museum - Unfortunately the info is only in Danish. As a minimum there should also be info in English. However, this is one of the most important Danish poets we are talking about here - hymns and poems are known and translated into several languages. Guided tour for 100,-kr. Was really worth the money 5 stars here 😀

Amazing! Had a super tour today from “Ann”. I don't speak Danish, but that wasn't a problem! I was able to understand everything well and felt very comfortable! Highly recommended!

First off, we didn't go into the museum. But the grounds are large and beautiful. There are also many things to discover, all with information panels (in Danish). There's also a small windmill that you can go inside. There's a hiking trail (marked blue or yellow) that leads to the nearby fjord. If you enjoy nature and culture, this is the perfect place.

I felt welcome as soon as I walked in. Exciting exhibition and lovely musical performance.

A wonderful discovery! We happened to pass by on our bikes, in the rain. The site is very beautiful and romantic. We had the pleasure of a tour with a passionate and engaging guide. The poet's house has recently been magnificently restored. A very nice museum has been added in a new wing of the outbuildings.

Unfortunately we had set aside too little time for the visit, can be recommended 😃

A beautiful and peaceful place with the most beautiful view over Astrup vig. You can buy refreshments, visit Jeppe Aakjær's home or just take a walk in the beautiful nature. We chose to drink afternoon coffee under the large, shady trees in the garden.
