They offer a selection of set menus, but you can also order à la carte if you prefer. The food was fantastic, although the service was a bit slow – probably because the restaurant was quite busy. That said, the staff were both friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!

Vi har i dag været på Basso, for at prøve deres Sunday Tasting Menu. Det fortryder vi virkelig!!! - at vi ikke har gjort noget før. 13 retter, hvor af de 12 var til perfektion. Og den sidste blot ikke blev gift med vores smagsløg. Der var rigtig god variation i retterne. De blev serveret med passende afstand. “Rikke K” udøvede fantastisk, informativ og velforberedt service. Retterne blev formidlet og serveret til perfektion. Og uanset hvad vi havde af spørgsmål, kunne der med overskud, glæde og knowhow, svares på det hele uden problemer. Vi var mætte! - uden at være overmætte da vi forlod sted. Gode hyggelige faciliteter. Men maden og servicen gør, at vi alle kommer igen. Kæmpe anbefaling herfra. Og en kæmpe high-5 skal gives til Rikke.

My second time visit- totally recommend it for a unique dining experience in Aarhus. The service was top notch, polite staffs who were very attentive and adhered to dietary restrictions and also precise explanation of each dish, very welcoming and charming. The food was interesting indeed, simple yet powerful flavors. However, it is not a budget friendly restaurant- for two people, it will be easily above 1000 kroners with drinks.

We were a group of 8 people who visited the restaurant. We had a 10-course menu with a wine package. Everything was lovely! The food, drinks and atmosphere. They also accommodate food allergies and food preferences. Recommended!

A good concept with 13 dishes for DKK. 500. Overall a good experience, but the taste was lacking in some of the dishes. The pasta dish was very tame, the risotto far too "fat" and the aubergine dish too confused. But the other 10 dishes were lovely (especially the pig, the salad and the minestrone) and the service was good. Would recommend Kaiser Social or Cinco instead though (same concept but better).

We came to celebrate my husband's birthday. An hour and 20 minutes after arrival we had only had 1 round of snacks and everyone was quite hungry. The food was indeed tasty but half-lukewarm and it was served slowly and the table was not cleared very well between courses. Nice young people who served us but unfortunately not what we had hoped for or value for the price this time.

Nice food, maybe a little small portions but then you can order several dishes. "Our" waiter was very service-minded, but was very busy. So there was a long time between main course and dessert. On the other hand, we experienced a lack of general service from the other waiter, who we asked for the bill. The answer was succinct: I'll probably pass that on to 'your' waiter, after which she went over to clear a table. So I ended up having to go up and ask to pay. A sad end to a nice dinner.

Very nice food and plenty of it, the staff was sweet and accommodating.

Muy buena tratoria italiana con servicio casual y profesional. No es barato pero asequible y recomendable si desea viajar al savoir italiano - faire (billete más barato que volar) con un toque escandinavo y sabor creativo. Pesketar friendly.
