Really nice place. Delicious and exciting food. Good service. Great atmosphere. A bit of a bummer… you get asked for tips. A boring trend 😏

We went there for my birthday dinner and it was really great. We chose the 13 servings with wine pairing. I am vegetarian and my partner doesn't eat fish, which was accounted for in all the servings. Would recommend for celebrations. You can easily hold a conversation and the staff is attentive. They even got the recipe from the chef for one of the dishes because it tasted so nice.

We visited Basso on Saturday 10/1-2026 and it was a thoroughly exquisite pleasure. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had booked a table for 7:45 pm but arrived a little earlier and were welcomed with the greatest kindness. The waiter had a table for us in the basement, to which we asked if it was possible to have a table upstairs in the restaurant, which was no problem. 👌🏽 We were seated and then began an absolutely fantastic culinary experience in the Italian kitchen. We had chosen the 13 dishes, which were a long positive taste experience. They were all beautifully presented to the eye (see pictures), and everything tasted excellent. We can't help but give Basso our warmest recommendations. We were both completely full when we reached the end of the road, and we even got some of the main course to take home since we couldn't eat more. (I'm a 120 kg man full) The place is warm, cozy and intimately decorated, and we never felt like we couldn't talk privately, which was probably also the case when we first left at 11:30 PM, 4 hours later. So we would like to thank you for a fantastic evening, and will definitely come again.

I was looking forward to going there but was really disappointed with the menu. The snacks very fantastic but after that nothing else was satisfactory. The soup was very basic and unbalanced, nothing special. What disappointed me the most was the meat. We had ordered the 10 servings with pork as main which was full of fat and very little meat. It was not properly selected as most pieces had more fat than meat. Really poor choice. Not worth the price

A lot of food and none of them is tasty. The good ones tasted average, then some of them I couldn’t finish. The pasta was even too salty to be ingested at all. Fancy but not worth it.
