The best baked goods we ate during our entire stay in Denmark, and also some of the best ever! 💛 A place with an amazing atmosphere and an unusual concept - you can watch the bakers at work, see the bread rising. The buying process itself is very unusual and, in my opinion, unique - I pack the selected baked goods into paper bags myself, and then scan them at the self-service checkout. We were there first thing in the morning and there were plenty of baked goods! Taste and freshness? You can see it from the photos themselves. We chose two sweet baked goods: lemon rolls and a double-baked pistachio-blueberry croissant, and savory rolls - all of them will remain in your memory for a long time! Fresh, real taste, in which you can feel the high quality ingredients and skills at a high level, the dough so crispy and buttery that you can melt 🥰

For me, it's the best bakery in Aarhus. I've tried all their products, and they're truly exquisite. The quality of the raw materials is excellent; everything is 100% organic. I highly recommend it.

The quality, the taste – superb!

Berta is in my top 3 best bakeries of Aarhus. They have a nice and varied selection, though popular items do sell out quickly. I really like the self-service for the bread and pastries, but the self-checkout system could use some improvement. Having a staff member at the register would be much faster.

Brilliant, you can see how everything is created, the cardamom pieces are the best in town! At most, La Cabra can keep up. Apparently only card payments, that seems to be the trend.

Best bakery in all of Århus. Change my mind. Staff is always nice and the self service is so great for those of us, who have a hard time deciding what to get. Their sourdough buns are unmatched and I always buy extra buns to bring home to CPH, whenever I visit. Freeze them and pop them in oven when I need a Berta fix. Not to forget their pumpkin seed croissant. Sometimes I eat two of them, because they are that good. I’m tearing up just thinking about them. 15/10.
