Had a delicious meal! Nice place to sit. Next door, there is a (public) play area for children with a water play area and trampoline.

Restaurant run by two lovely, very friendly and attentive ladies. The food isn't overly elaborate, but it's made with fresh ingredients and is delicious. My children loved it. There's plenty of parking. Highly recommended if you're stopping to see the Jelling Stones.

In connection with my hike on March 21, 2026 from Vejle to Jelling via Vejle Ådalen, I had a wonderful lunch at Byens Café. Sweet service and delicious food together with a good strong beer, I could hardly ask for more. I say thank you.😊👍
