Very nice little café. Not a big menu but the food is very good! Very fresh and nice flavours. Although there was fennel in the hummus 😬. Other than that it was great! 👍 Good prices too.

This place feels like home, staff is very friendly, same as the customers. You can have an awesome coffee prepared by a barista, and the dishes as well as the cakes are amazing! Enjoy

07/11/2025: Amazing cozy place with delicious food and super welcoming service. The place has a tasty and welcoming design, climatic music. It’s definitely considered a must visit in Aarhus. If is was very hungry, I’d go for their tasting menu. This time is just wanted to have a taste of their signature half of lobster with home made fries. It was delicious. I also had a soft serve ice cream for dessert - yummy. Will revisit for sure 💚
04/11/2025: Had brunch with everything. Lovely food, and a slightly unconventional brunch, which was perfect. Great with a slightly different experience in a cool way. Always worth a visit both for brunch but definitely also for lunch and dinner. Thank you so much for a great experience

04/11/2025: Good, delicious and authentic Chinese food. If you are Chinese, it is like coming home to China and eating with your family. ( 存正中国餐） We love it. 🇨🇳🇨🇳 Note. Come early if you want your food fast. They are always busy from around 1730-1900 and the food is made with love, so it takes time. November 3, 2025. Again today we have eaten at Yi East. Still authentic and the food makes me feel that I am not so far away from my birthplace, China. Can still recommend the place.
