When we celebrated Christmas Eve in Copenhagen and on Christmas Day we had to pick up some family there and bring them home for Christmas lunch in South Zealand - Præstø/Bårse Christmas Day. Were we in no doubt how we could easily enjoy the day without stress and rush, which was simultaneously delicious, delicate and inviting to eat for Christmas lunch. We have previously bought luxury smørrebrød as takeaway and eaten at Cafe Kilden at Mogenstrup Golf Club, where everything has been so elegant and full of fresh, quality products This time we also enjoyed every bite of the buffet, which was plentiful and we can definitely recommend CAFE KILDEN and it is definitely not the last time we buy and enjoy this fantastic food.. 🌺The buffet consisted of marinated and curry herring🌺 🌺Eggs and prawns🌺Fish fillet w/ remoulade and lemon🌺 🌺Graved SALMON w/ fox sauce 🌺 🌺Roast pork with a touch of Christmas spices🌺 🌺Christmas medicine with mustard🌺 🌺Apple pork🌺 🌺 Warm liver pâté w/ mushroom and bacon🌺 🌺 Various cheeses with grapes.🌺 🌺Rice salamander with cherry sauce🌺 🌺Butter and bread. 🌺

22/05/2025: We had booked a table for their seafood festival experience and were definitely not disappointed. A very cozy restaurant with a sweet, attentive staff. The starter was brilliant and the dessert was perfect and oh well, it was just delicious with homemade pasta for the main course. If you like good Italian food, this place is worth a visit.
12/05/2025: Surprisingly delicious place, with "Italian" inspired interior. Could have worked a little more on the interior/atmosphere, but clearly a positive surprise. The waiters were pleasant and attentive to requests. Regarding the food, I ate pasta with veal and truffle, and it was really good and in the right portion. Fresh taste and the pasta was al dente and lovely creamy sauce. For dessert, my husband wanted to try their homemade Tiramisu and it was really good. Fresh and good taste, just right sweet. It would have been nice if pizza had been an option on the menu, because it would surely have been fabulous too.. We would love to come back.!
