The staff was super nice and helpful! We had the focaccia burger and some wine, both were amazing. The brunch is also great, their pancakes and cakes are delicious!

A 10/10 experience from the very first minute to the last! The place looks amazing, with a super warm and welcoming design, and an attention to detail that really makes a difference. The food was simply fabulous. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right, and the presentation of the dishes was straight out of a magazine. The service deserves all the praise: the team was super friendly, attentive to every little detail, and very fast, without being intrusive at all. We felt extremely welcome. Everything was top-notch! We will definitely be back soon and recommend this place with all our heart!

My husband and I love Cavu. Today was our first day trying the dinner menu (we’ve come for brunch multiple times). I must say, incredible selection. We decided to share multiple starters (tuna tatare, bruschetta, grilled corn, focaccia with dip, and the Caesar salad). Everything tasted so fresh, and it was clear it was all homemade. They also have an extremely reasonably priced three course dinner menu that we will be trying very soon. So excited to have a quality, fresh, new restaurant on vestergade!

The Mediterranean Eggs Benedict is the bomb. I’ve been visiting Aarhus the past month and Cavu has been my favorite brunch spot by far. I am an orange juice lover, and this spot does the best orange juice in town. They squeeze it fresh every day, and the flavor proves it. Absolutely incredible. For the remainder of my study abroad, this will be my only breakfast place!

Even though we had read that Cavu is mostly known for brunch, we booked a table for dinner. We had a really good experience, the food was good and the service was fantastic, both efficient and cheerful. We will definitely be back 😊

We had a nice evening at CAVU, and the family left both full and satisfied. The staff were nice, attentive and genuinely interested in hearing our opinions and suggestions, which we really appreciated. However, the food was a bit mixed for us. We started with focaccia. The dip was really delicious, but there was a lot of it in relation to the amount of bread. The bread was very buttered and greasy, and the pieces were quite large and a bit awkward to eat. We were given extra bread on the house, which was really nice and thoughtful. I had a sandwich with beef strips. The meat was well-cooked but was a bit tame in taste, both the fries and the dressing were really good. However, the sandwich itself was very heavy and greasy. The bread was a bit boring, and although there was tomato, lettuce, caramelized onions, pickled cucumbers, red onion and mustard seeds in it, the different elements didn't really come into their own. I especially missed more freshness and acidity to break up the fat. More pickled red onions would have done a lot for my taste. The children had a burger and pasta respectively. The burger was beautifully presented, and the pasta was too good for the cheesy taste, but both children were very satisfied. My wife had the king prawns, which tasted fine. Here, however, she missed a small bowl of water for her fingers, as it naturally becomes a bit of a chore. The dessert was delicious, the coffee was good, and there was a really nice atmosphere in the room. In general, we think that the dishes looked better in the pictures than what we were served. In our opinion, the menu and some of the dishes still have some room for improvement, but we also understand that CAVU is still in a start-up phase, where you have to find your style and get to know the guests' tastes. We ended up paying just under 300 kr. per person including drinks, which was quite reasonable. All in all, we had a pleasant evening, and the friendly and welcoming service in particular made a good impression.

Got the 4xbrunch menu, 2 of the pancakes tasted of baking soda, a bit like it wasn't mixed well enough, so it was a disappointing experience. 1/2 croissant by itself was a bit boring, nothing special. Avocado cream was a bit too sour, but otherwise the eggs, bacon and bread tasted good. Seasonal salad was tomato, croutons and arugula, tasted fine. Hummus had a bit too much acid and cumin. Yogurt was really good. Coffee and juices also very good.

Really good experience! Everything from the service to the food was perfect. Gustav gave really good service and had a great energy, which made the atmosphere even better. The food tasted amazing, and in general everything was just fine. We will definitely come again!…

I went to Cavu for brunch today and the place, food and service are really top notch - would definitely recommend this place.
