There were two of us who ate there on 21.11-24. Booked a table for 20:00, they close at 22:00. To make it easier for the staff, and to take into account that it was a slightly later booking, we ordered our food in advance when booking. When I arrived a little early I was given a menu card, pointed out that we had ordered and that my companion was coming in 5 minutes. The waiter was nice and welcoming and we were able to choose a drinkable white wine, we chose Nals Margreid, NM Cuvée, (Chardonnay & Sauvignon blanc), for DKK 508, I got a small taste as usual, the wine tasted of very sour green apples, and was not worth drinking, was not something I would even be familiar with serving to anyone, the same could be bought in any supermarket for 30-40. Asked waiters if we could choose another white wine and what he would recommend for white wine, and it was no problem, so kudos to him, he recommended Sauvignon Blanc, Due Uve, Bertani, for DKK 498, which we tasted, and we chose it, as there was only one more possible white wine to try, as we were not into Pinot Grigio, it was easily drinkable juice-like, which cheaper Sauvignon Blanc is now, nothing nuanced or complex about it at all, but drinkable, everyone would be able to buy something similar in a supermarket for a 60 kroner note. I would give the wine experience 1-2 stars, a pity that it seemed almost impossible to get a good wine with the food. On the other hand, I would give the starter and main course 4 stars, quite fine, the dessert 3 stars. My starter was "Bruschetta con Burrata", main course: pizza "Filetto con Tartufo", with beef fillet, dessert: Cioccolata in Padella (chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream), consistency of one of the ice creams was nice, but too sweet, lacked the pure flour-cream taste and the vanilla could well be a little more prominent and complex. The service was friendly, but a little slow, even though we had ordered a starter and main course in advance, there was just a bit too much waiting time, and you had to go up yourself to order dessert, you could sense that at 9pm they wanted one out the door, even though they didn't close until 10pm, we left at 9.45pm. Might try again later to see if they have improved. I would say that I believe it would give quite a few more customers if they invited a wine sommelier for half a day's time, who could help them find some good wine that also suited their food. There are plenty of good wines for a hundred kroner note.
