Cozy little place with good brunch, I chose purely vegetarian and was well-filled with 7 small dishes. The squash cake is especially recommended

Cozy cafe with many good brunch options. Vegan/dairy-free cake and also for coffee or tea. Also gluten-free option, but I don't know if it's also dairy-free.

One of my favourite places in Roskilde. It’s simple, but I like it. Delicious coffee, nice staff and atmosphere.

Nice food but lack of service. Arrive as it's relatively quiet (guess based on the amount of people) and am told I can go down to the table myself instead of being shown to this (reserved). Here, I am also not made aware that I have to take the menu down to the table myself, which is why I have to go back once more and get this. The actual ordering of the food takes place without any problems. When I received my food, my so-called poached egg was completely hard-boiled. When we finish the food after some time, there is no staff to take out our empty dishes. When we go up to make another order and then get served this, he takes a completely empty tray back to the kitchen instead of taking some of the dirty crockery back. We now have quite a lot on the table and find it difficult to be there. As the cafe fills up, it also gets warmer in the room and there is a need for ventilation. However, this is not an option, as the interior is placed in such a way that it is not possible to open the window and the staff is not even aware that they have windows. All in all, an experience that leaves us a little disappointed, if you think purely in terms of service. However, they must be praised for their good coffee.

Delicious brunch with plenty of options for all vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters - you choose a number of dishes (3/5/7) a bit on the prizey side but really delicious and good service in a cozy room.

The food was good, but to charge DKK 20 for a glass of water from the tap is too much.

If you're looking for an alternative yet dainty and rustic vibe with lots of character and warmth, Satchmo is the perfect place for a low-key brunch or a cup of something with homemade baked goods. The outdoor seating gives a cosy backyard vibe, away from the hustle and bustle from the main street.
