Café Satchmo Roskilde

The café is small and cozy. After the sandwich we ordered, you could really think you could order anything here, and that would be fabulous.

We ate vegan, and the food tasted good, and the atmosphere was cozy. It was a bit of a shame, however, that the brunch with seven things (six types of cold cuts) was only served with two very small pieces of rye bread and one slice of sourdough bread. Extra bread cost 7 kr. per slice, which quickly adds up. I would definitely prefer to be able to order the dishes individually at a unit price rather than this solution. In addition, I also think that 20 kr. for a glass of water is expensive – especially when you already buy other drinks. All in all, the food was okay, but the extra costs for bread and water are a drag. I will probably choose another place next time.

This cafe is super cozy! 🥰 We sat in the courtyard, which was lovely and peaceful away from the city noise. The food was also delicious. 😋 Definitely a great spot to relax! ✨☕

Nice food, but difficult to navigate the menu if you dont speak danaish, they use the pencil and paper system but it's all in danish.

Excellent brunch, nice service and cozy surroundings

Excellent find. Bit devastated I missed brunch, but the grilled smoked salmon sandwich was amazing. The decor is quirky and cute, right up my street. Staff were super helpful and didn’t bat at eyelid about my inability to speak even a word of Danish.

Nice place to go for salads and sandwiches. The salads are high quality, with a surprising variety of ingredients compared to Spain; they're definitely worth trying, delicious. The carrot cake looked amazing. Very friendly service.
