Café Selvskab - Smykkecafé og kreativ café Roskilde

Super cozy cafe and activity both with friends and children. We made both paper flowers and embroidery and want to try everything else. Stina and Maria, who own the café, are so nice and good at helping and instructing. And if you are not creative, you can come just for the delicious delicious cakes 😋

A unique experience in the center of Roskilde. Here, in cozy surroundings, there is plenty of opportunity to develop your creative abilities in a lot of different projects. I had 3 girls with me who made earrings and a nice bowl in an oyster shell respectively. In the cafe, both children and adults came, but also friends and single people who enjoyed something delicious from the menu while they did creative projects. It's the first time we've been there but certainly not the last. There was good service and we were nicely guided through the processes in the various projects, which lasted for about 2 to 2.5 hours while there was laughter and fun. I am a big fan and can only recommend visiting them.

Roskilde's nicest cafe. Great cakes, excellent staff, great atmosphere, a place you just want to be.

From the first visit, I was fascinated by the many creative projects you could start with! It was like stepping into the creative workshop in the SFO, just for adults 😃. Maria and Stina are enormously welcoming, helpful and service minded! I have become a regular now, and have enjoyed many visits to my maternity ward, with the mothers' group, with friends and last but not least celebrated my birthday there. All visits have been phenomenal!! I love it!!!

Roskilde's most beautiful and coziest creative cafe. Today we celebrate my daughter's 10th birthday for five girls. They both made jewelery and lino prints (linoleum prints) and ate delicious delicious cake. They had had some wonderful hours. I myself come both alone and with friends and drink coffee and eat cake, make paper flowers, jewellery, lino prints, jewelery bowls etc. It is great to have creative activities in Roskilde and there is a lot to choose from. Also a well-stocked jewelery café. I always experience the best service, good guidance, lots of smiles and a nice atmosphere. And then it's just a pleasure to be in the beautiful, inspiring and decorative premises. Café selfhood has quickly become my regular café. Highly recommended for anyone who wants creativity, hot drinks and the best cakes❤️

Started my sister's bachelorette party at café Selvskab. We were met by smiling hostesses at the cafe, who gave us time to land, gave us good instructions for linoleum printing, and helped along the way. There was a really cozy atmosphere, and despite the fact that there were (too) many of us for linoleum printing, Stina and Maria made it succeed by having several printing stations, changing the set-up continuously, so that it all went smoothly. All the while we could concentrate on printing, talking and enjoying coffee, tea, bubbles, cinnamon rolls and even a gluten-free and dairy-free rum ball. All in all, a really good experience that received a lot of praise from all participants throughout the rest of the day❤️.

Roskilde's best cafe! Probably more of a creative cafe than an actual cafe. That was also why we came. We wanted to learn something at the same time as having fun with 3 girlfriends. We had a really nice afternoon and they were nice and friendly and you could make a lot of nice things. However, I think it was a rather expensive experience. We only had 2 hours from the time we arrived until they closed. We ended up spending DKK 650. For that money we got 3 glasses of juice, roasted almonds, 2 paper flowers and 1 linoleum print. I don't think we got very many instructions, good advice or corrections, which meant that we got more out of being creative in the café than if we had done it at home. So the conclusions are that my expectations were high and that I was probably quite disappointed by the price. Come home with a paper flower for DKK 179. Which probably had the same result as if I had watched a YouTube video.

Så hyggelig smykkecafe i Roskilde, hvor man kan få udfoldet sine kreative sider. Mangler man hjælp bliver man hjulpet godt på vej med kyndig vejledning. GOD kaffe og nu også endnu lækre kager! Vildt flotte smykker kan også købes i butikken.
