Café Vin og Brød Lolland

Bought some bread to take home - different types of rye bread and wholemeal bread. Really good bread! Worth waiting in the long line for. You should do something about your wasp problem though.

Had a delicious lunch. A little stressful that there is no table service, but it worked out fine.

First of all, what takes away for first star was all the wasps in the bakery, they were everywhere and in great numbers. The staff was very friendly thou so that is a plus. For the food: Daughter had the burger, decent but the paddy was overcooked and a bit dry, and she said she couldn't taste the jalapeño mayo. Son had the stjerneskud, that all went down well and looks and tasted nice. Wife had the pasta salad with pulled chicken, for the price we expected a bit more, she was still hungry afterwards. I had the fiskefilet, the potatoes were nice, remoulade was great, and the fish okay, a bit greasy but the flavour was nice.. decent place, but might look for something else the coming days.

Good baked goods, but the most expensive baker in town.

Cozy and inviting cafe at first glance. The staff are busy and we were not greeted with a Welcome or Hello. We quickly found a free table outside in the cozy front garden, which has a good flow. You just have to get used to having to pick up the menu yourself and then order your food/drinks yourself. The shooting star we ordered tasted good, but was a bit small for my taste, compared to other experiences elsewhere. The concept of having both fresh pastries and smaller dishes seems to work. Add to that good wines and local specialty beers, giving a wide range for the individual.

Inside, you have a view of the show kitchen where the sandwiches are prepared. The sales area has a beautiful and appetizing display. Very stylishly furnished. Friendly staff who also speak English. All the tables, both inside and out, were occupied on a weekday. So, it's possible an order might get lost. If that happens, just ask and be patient. With this quality, sunny weather, and jazz music playing in the town square that day, it's no wonder. We had coffee and cake. Everything was delicious.

Nice spot, we had just arrived by ferry and were looking for something to eat. We did that and also took a tasty cake with us for later. Highly recommended; busy but things moved along really well.

Got a Burger for 175 kr. The steak and bun were good but otherwise it was a really boring experience for the price. You got a small handful of very boring boat potatoes. There were also challenges with wasps inside.
