Cafe Vivaldi Roskilde

Pse! The burger wasn't bad... But the business model where you sit down, serve yourself, pay in advance, and wait to be served doesn't really convince me, but the fact that they ask for your tip in advance when you don't know how you're going to be served blows my mind. The experience of eating at a restaurant involves being able to stray from the script, but this model doesn't give you that option. There's no human way to ask for pickles on your burger or for it to be less well-done. You can only ask for extras that they've predetermined in the app. There's no difference with McDonald's.

The food is just ordinary Vivaldi cafe food, nothing more, nothing less. But the service is really good. The young staff know how to create a relaxed cafe atmosphere while being polite and respectful of the fact that you are a paying customer. The best Vivaldi cafe I have ever visited

Got a Mexican burger with delicious crispy fries. I wish the steak wasn't fried completely gray, but that's standard at the place.

The times I have eaten here, the food has been really good, the drinks good and the atmosphere good. Some funny staff who try a bit too hard so it gets a little awkward instead. And the prices are right at the high end compared to "ordinary restaurant food". But otherwise I have been satisfied with my experiences here.

Hyggeligt sted at spise, skøn udsigt over stændertorvet i Roskilde. Fantastisk rart personale, god service selv om der er meget travlt. Maden er lavet med kærlighed, friske varer grønsager brød og lignende. Var mega lækkert. Pænt og rent overalt.

A concept that is niche and executed just fine. No service all food is ordered through QR codes. One single floor staff running around where you have to call for attention or service. Food was delicious, if not just a little expensive for a chain bar/restaurant. It’s great for a quick bite to eat, but I’m sure this style of service has its own flaws that have crept up over the years. No real issues with it except that we had to get up and go look all over the floor for 1 staff member to get a takeaway box.
