Had a great dinner - where the Paella was amazing, some had steaks and we all enjoyed super well prepared food by the Spanish (Catalan to be precise) chef.
We ate some delicious steak and the waiters were just amazing! Super atmosphere and coziness in the restaurant. It was just average food tbh but the waiters and the atmosphere pulls this up to a solid 4 star.
Nice layout of restaurant. Fish and chips nice but fries were very salty. Complained and did not say ok we won’t charge you. My son had mussels which were lovely but same problem with fries that were covered in salt. If you eat outside you have to go to bar and pay. Great when it’s the Royal run and a queue. Average.
Had been out to eat somewhere else earlier in the evening which was a disappointing experience so I decided to enjoy a dessert somewhere else and the choice fell on Carl Peter.
I had a world class dessert and since I couldn't see that there was any port wine on their wine list I took the liberty of asking if it was something they had and luckily they had just started getting port wine in.
So it will be interesting to see when they get some more because it won't be the last time I stop by here when I come to those parts again

me and my better half were over, I'm vegan and although there are no vegan dishes on the menu, they were so nice and made the world's most delicious dish for me, which the boyfriend was totally envious of.
We will come again another time!
