Mediocre Chinese buffet with variety of sushi range and live Mongolian barbecue. Fried Chicken items were not so fresh. Overall olay-ish

2025: The restaurant goes from ⭐️⭐️ to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in my eyes. It is clearly improved. The food is delicious, fresh and tasty. I chose food for frying by the chef, and it can definitely be recommended. There is a lot to choose from: beef, chicken, lamb and fish. It all tasted good and was perfectly cooked. Didn't taste the sushi this time, but wasabi dip had arrived. The coffee was hot, soft ice cream is still not to my taste, but the chocolate cake was really good. I wish the waiter could provide information about the different drinks, e.g. alcohol percentage in beer. Got a mild Japanese beer - but it's 5%, it's not that smart. My previous review: 2024: Boring cafeteria-like atmosphere. The sushi was boring, sticky and tasteless. I found no teryaki or wasabi dip but instead chili mayo?! The ready meals in the buffet were on par. One piece of duck in sauce was super tender and delicate while another was dry and not chewable. The fried dishes were ok. Soft ice ok but nothing special. The coffee was not fresh and hot. Maybe you should try a la carte dishes if they have it.

Super good place to bring children! The staff are nice and nice, and it is easy to have children of all ages with them. Good sushi. Large buffet with many options to have your own dish fried. However, their soda is ALWAYS super lazy and sad 🙈

Although it is a cheap restaurant, the food is not quite as good as it should be. The kitchen could not keep up with filling the buffet. The staff were friendly, but not very service minded. In the restaurant, it's as noisy as a construction site, which of course brings the atmosphere down a notch and it feels really nice when you leave the restaurant. It is also very child-friendly, which is why we visited Restaurant China Palace. Can the place be recommended? Without toddlers, No! find another place to eat. With small children, it can work.

Best Chinese restaurant in Aarhus. Been coming here for the last 13 years. Always a pleasure with the good food and service.
