It was a super nice hotel in terms of location and the hotel itself but we were a little disappointed when there was no fridge in the room and a door that closed properly (it was a glass sliding door) We wish there was a spa area but it's fair to say there isn't one when they don't advertise it Absolutely fantastic close to the beach and lovely restaurant

Good for overnight stays, close to the beach

For a party on site. The staff were incredibly nice and incredibly polite. But despite many people at work, there was a queue at the bar, it took far too long. The food for the party was okay (not flashy despite a blob of blah blah blah on a bottom of blah blah blah), but there was WAY too little. And then the eternal problem. The shower in the room drips ridiculously little out of the hallway. And it lacks pressure (or more jets to choose from) and once descaling. And the bed was far too soft and almost impossible to turn over in or get out of. But a beautiful location and a lovely party despite everything.

A good and clean hotel with friendly service and a great location. The only drawback: the bathroom is very small. When you use the toilet, your leg is pressing against the toilet paper holder. It was acceptable for the one night we booked. For longer stays, I would look into larger rooms with a more spacious bathroom. The hotel's location, however, is great. If we had been there for more than one night, I would definitely have booked a room with a view. The beach is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. The city center was also quickly accessible on foot. Since we were traveling by car, a parking space was important to us. It's very spacious, so we had no trouble parking our vehicle right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was also very good. The selection was small but high-quality. Instead of masses of boring, standard fare, there were select varieties of good-quality cheese, sausage, jam, etc. Conclusion: I would definitely recommend the hotel and would book it again myself. However, for multiple nights I would choose a larger room.

Nice hotel, good and helpful staff. Lovely food. The standard of the rooms didn't seem to quite live up to the price per day. (Approx. 1150 DKK on average per day). I could come again, but I could also see if there were alternatives.

We only stayed one night, but the hotel was very pleasant. The rooms are perfectly adequate. The reception is always staffed and very friendly. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Rooms at the back offer a lovely view of the garden, and those on the first floor have a sea view. The sea is just a few minutes' walk away. We booked breakfast, and it was beautifully presented as a buffet and very plentiful. Coffee was also available freshly brewed from a coffee machine, and there were various flavors available.

The hotel looks chic at first glance online. However, you should be careful when choosing a room, as the hotel has several buildings. Unfortunately, I was placed in one of the two single-story buildings near the street. The bed was extremely soft, and I sank deep into it. Cleanliness was a grade of 3- (you have to be okay with foreign hair on the sheets, fingerprints on the chrome door handle, and the rust on the bathroom door). Service was OK, friendly, and breakfast was OK. Instant coffee/tea with a kettle in the room was good. OK for an overnight stay on a business trip; for a vacation, I would choose a room in a higher category. Parking directly at the building is a plus. Check-in/check-out was also quick and easy.

Lovely Comwell hotel, it is well located in relation to the beach, but there is a good walk to the train and Køge center. Due to the busyness we got rooms in the west wing, which were nice - but very small bed and seemed to be used as single rooms, as there was only one cup. The breakfast buffet was as it should be, everything from porridge to waffle iron - coffee, a small one and a very different juice, on tap - smart. We were lucky that the sun was high in the sky, so we could also enjoy sitting outside on the terrace 🌞 A nice stay in connection with a birthday nearby.

Celebrated my birthday, perfect 3 course meal and delicious room
