These were lousy rooms for the price.

Personally, I really liked it. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast is perfect, and the location is very pleasant.

We had a positive experience with excellent food, a great atmosphere and extremely welcoming staff, and we look forward to returning.

Excellent location, slightly uphill, with a truly breathtaking view of the Roskilde Fjord. Comfortable parking, good food at the restaurant and a very friendly bartender who made us a lovely Mai Tai.

This was our last stop on an around Zealand cycle. Great welcome from reception, and the hotel certainly felt more upmarket and swish. However - the bedroom was tiny!! Really not feasible for a couple with 2 x suitcases. I think the room is designed for a one person corporate visitor which it would be fine for! The location is quite a long way out of town (annoying for us at the end of a long cycle), but plenty of bike and car parking. Breakfast was really good.

Ok base. Nothing special and expensive for what it is

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Comwell Roskilde. Here we experienced the Scandinavian hospitality and enjoyed the stylish danish design that characterises the many internal common areas in the property. The staff is helpful and was quick in solving an overbooking issue. The restaurant offers tasty food in the new Nordic style we wanted to try. Location is fantastic overlooking the fiord, with Roskilde town center at walking distance. I definitely recommend it!

This hotel was the last on our Scandinavian tour, and the room we were given was the smallest of the entire trip (and the smallest "ever"). Oh well, we'll get through it, we thought, as we tried to redeem our summer drinks ticket (2 for 1). After the bar staff kindly stopped their conversation after a few minutes to speak to us, they gave us a blank stare. They'd never heard of summer drinks. "Uh, Mai Thai," one of them said, not looking at us. "Well, we'll have a glass of water," we thought. Unlike the room, the hotel has a lovely terrace, and we were in luck: the sun was shining and there was a nice breeze.

The most peaceful place on earth. Beautiful hotel, great food. Above all, the loveliest and friendliest staff on earth, you'll be tempted to hug them. One drawback, you'll need a car or a lot of taxis rides to get to and from it.
