Beautiful hotel, peacefully situated by a fjord. Super friendly staff. Good breakfast. It is located a bit further from the center, but that is not a problem for me.

Beautiful surroundings with beautiful nature. In general, the hotel appears modern, neat and well-maintained - The meeting room was cold and gray - The chairs were cold to sit on. The rooms are quite nice, not that big, but there is what it should be - Bed, table, chair and nice bathroom. Food: The breakfast buffet contains a mixed selection of different breakfasts - the buns are very cool. Dinner: Not impressive. It's as if there is not really any coherence in the food - the selection as a vegetarian is limited. Afternoon: different kinds of cake - some better than others. - there is fruit, coffee, tea and water, etc. throughout the day. It's delicious. Dinner: Was served beetroot steak two days in a row, although with different side dishes - But not very inspiring - the beetroot steaks were not so good that they were good for two days. In general, the food is a bit lacking - Had higher expectations of Comwell based on visits to other of their hotels. The service was strange - the waiters didn't always know what was being served, they didn't know which tables were being served. But we were served food and drinks, and entertained by a waiter who seemed a bit under the influence.

Super good experience all in all. Lovely beds, delicious products - excellent food and wine. And really nice service.

If I could, I'd give it 4.5 stars. The space in the room and bathroom was maximized, but thanks to the large window behind the bed, it wasn't overwhelmingly small. The view of the fjord was beautiful from the window. The service was incredibly friendly and professional. Clean. The breakfast was good, although the selection of fruit and vegetables could have been wider. A big plus was the unlimited coffee and tea, which you could brew in the restaurant's coffee machines 24/7 and take back to your room. Parking was ample and secure, though it looked a bit shady. I didn't give it five stars because there was an unpleasant smell coming from the drains (from the shower). Of course, in warm weather, you can close the bathroom and crack the window, but in winter, this can be bothersome. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I wasn't woken at night, although I was concerned when guests returned from dinner – the door could have better insulated the sounds from the hallway.

Rooms are small, but clean and modern. Bedding is comfortable, with a heated bathroom floor....a pleasant amenity! Need better parking accommodations for paid room guests, as the parking lot was full due to multiple conferences going on at this facility.

The hotel is idyllically located close to Roskilde Fjord, which is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is consistently cozy and relaxed, characterized by stylish Scandinavian design and many small "cozy corners" where you can relax with a good book or a cup of coffee. The food was in line with the season, and it tasted amazing! After the meal we went to the bar, and it was very busy. Still, the two bartenders did a great job, and we have to give Sofie a huge compliment! Keep up your sweet nature and smile. Thanks to all the staff, we'll be back!
