They make super delicious bread.

Well, then it was the little man's turn to put the muzzle on David Grødhoved's so-called "bread". I spent 71 kroner on a single French loaf, which I think was very cheap. The problem is that the bread tasted like puhbæ from the top shelf of the thrift store. What a turn-off, the woman behind the cashier was a real honey, of course it's annoying. But I actually also saw David Grødhoved sniff glue on ice cream once, just so you knew. Maybe that's why he's so cool to look at, because he's eating ice cream. Well, that's how it goes, 3 stars from here. Holla at me Josefine behind the counter. Then I'll teach you a thing or two about sausage horns.

The place is simply wonderful. The best Danish cafe I've ever been to, the bread with butter and cheese was the best of all, and the decor perfectly suited my tastes. It's a half-local and half-tourist place, but its hiddenness in a street makes it peaceful and quiet. We stayed longer to read a book because we were enchanted by the appearance, atmosphere and taste of the food. The coffee and matcha were standard, but combined with everything I wrote above, it tasted very good. Free water was also available, which is a Scandinavian standard, but also a plus.

A must visit café, their coffee tastes really good. The service was quite fast and welcoming. Both croissant and pain au chocolate were fresh and tasteful. Different sitting styles, all of them are lovely, there are two outdoor areas, good for summer days.

I thought was a hidden gem. Prefer La Cabra.

One of the best things in life is a freshly made bun with cold salted butter. Davidbreadhead sadly has decided to stop halfway there... We arrived on a slow Wednesday morning and ordered some buns with butter and cheese, some coffee and an egg. And it is obvious that the baking is the heart and soul of DBH; the sourdough buns were crisp, chewy and all-around as close to heaven as baked goods will allow. This just made it all the more disappointing that they and the side of cheese and cold butter were served on a warm plate, resulting in a swimming pool of butter, cheese draping over the side half melted, but hey - warm bread! Such a shame, because the bread is *amazing*! I just wish the rest of the experience followed suit 🤷🏻‍♂️
