Duck It Aarhus

26/02/2024: We were going to a lecture and had previously booked a table at a restaurant backstage. There had been a mistake so the restaurant wasn't open, so we went up to Herman's and asked if we could buy some other food in the park, as we couldn't get down to town before the lecture. The nice girls at the bar called backstage, who confirmed that there had been a mistake. Instead, the girls at hermans offered us to eat there, despite the fact that that restaurant was also closed. So they set the table for us, found us a bottle of wine, beer and water and got us food from the venue next door (the food wasn't the best as it was just meatballs and potato salad) but we were just happy that we had to get into the heat and get some food before the lecture, even though the place wasn't officially open yet. After the meal we had coffee and when we had finished and had to go up and pay, they told us that it was on the house and that we therefore did not have to pay for food, wine, beer or coffee, and that they again apologized for the mistake. We were completely shocked. After all, we were just happy that we could get any food at all, and hadn't expected that we wouldn't have to pay for it. So what a good service! So an evening that started out a bit unfortunate ended up being a really good experience. You have to look for such good service for a long time! Would definitely like to book lectures there again. Thanks for a good night!

23/02/2024: Nice hall if you can't accommodate too many people. Could be a better waiting area with some smaller groups.
