Espresso House Lolland

The chain as such is functioning well. And the place here, which is located inside the Lalandia centre, is basically like most others - albeit with hot dishes such as burgers and pasta on the menu. When it's busy, it can be difficult to clear the tables of dirty crockery, or sweep the floor for dropped fries. It drags a bit down that there is no complete control of how to maintain the standard throughout the day. The prices are "Copenhagen", which means expensive coffee and even more expensive specialty beer. It's probably as you might expect; but since the place does not have table service and is therefore more like a cafeteria than a cafe, it is just stiff enough to pay DKK 45 for a take-away beer at the counter. The quality of the food and drink is impeccable, and the ingredients are fine. On that front, the chain delivers solidly and predictably - praise for that. Go here with confidence, but be aware that the prices are on the high side, even if the service is only at the till.
