I had the pleasure of ordering a ribeye steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection – medium rare, just the way I wanted it. The homemade bearnaise sauce was, as it should be, rich and flavorful without being too heavy. The fries were also a hit; crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which shows careful preparation. In addition to the excellent food, the service was also top notch. The staff was incredibly friendly, and everyone was greeted with a smile, which created a very pleasant atmosphere. It was clear that the emphasis was on giving the guests a good experience. All in all, this place can be highly recommended to anyone who appreciates good food and friendly service. I will definitely be back!

We visited Café Evald to celebrate the worst day of our 25th anniversary – and what an experience! With bubbles in the glass and caviar on the table, it was anything but a sad occasion. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and we immediately felt welcome. The fish dish of the day with hake was nothing short of fantastic. Fresh, delicate and perfectly prepared – a true taste experience that we will not soon forget. The waiters were smiling, attentive and in a really good mood, which only enhanced the experience even more. This is definitely not the last time we will visit Evald – a clear recommendation from here!

One of the best meals I ever had, I ate there 2 weeks ago but still think about it. Will be coming back to visit silkeborg just to eat here.

Stod på venteliste til frokost på en søndag. Ringede en halv time før det ønskede tidspunkt, og den søde tjener fandt en plads til os. Dejlig atmosfære, og vi blev mødt med et smil da vi ankom, og anvist vores bord. Hurtig og service minded personlig betjening, menukort med et godt udvalg af franske klassikere. Vi valgte en rørt tartar og en skive surdejsbrød med avocado creme. Begge retter og drikkevarer kom rimeligt hurtigt, velanrettede og velsmagende. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen, næste gang vejen går forbi Silkeborg.
