Evald Brasserie & Cafe Silkeborg

At Café Ewald you won't go in vain - it has it all. Cozy restaurant and beautiful area outside - where you can sit until late in the evening and in the fall due to terrace heaters and covered decking. Always good service and delicious food and a lovely and welcoming staff.

First time we were there, in every way a wonderful experience

Evald is a gem in Silkeborg. If you are going to the Musikteatret, this is the obvious option to start the evening with good food and matching wines

Super friendly staff. When I called to ask if they could accommodate the food intolerances of my white they said ‘we will take care of that, just come over. We had a lovely fish main course, sitting outside with our dog and were treated so kind. I wish we had restaurants in Belgium with the same attitude towards taking care of their customers with special needs. In Denmark this is more rule than exception.

Everything was great. The location of the cafe is fantastic especially if you can sut close to the canal. We enjoyed the food pretty much. However for the two smørrebrød we were charged 290 dkk instead of the offer which was 235 dkk. The reasoning was because we shared!! But we shared everything so I reduce one star because of poor management decision. The IPA beer was also on the pricy side. Everything wlse was great.

enkelt ret smuttede for køkkenet. og lidt lang serveringstid. Men ALT blev løst med smil, servicevenlighed, opmærksomhed og kompenseret! Maden var god, gode øl mange valgmuligheder hjemmelavet iste var ægte iste. gerne igen familie 4 stk kroner 1.050 for frokost

en dejlig aften, fin velkomst, super betjening mange tak Emilie og ikke mindst rigtig velsmagende og elegant mad og ikke minds fine vine til fair priser.

Good surroundings, good food, the burger could use a little more punch.

We ate Moules Frites right by the river. In addition to a fantastic atmosphere, the mussels in a vegetable cream sauce were just a dream. In addition, the service is extremely professional and competent. Thank you for a lovely afternoon....

Good food and really good service. Really nice staff who really make you feel welcome. They remember to follow up to see if the food tastes good and if you need anything.
