Florentz Cafe & Brasserie Roskilde

Was by Florentz on a Sunday lunch, where there were quite a few people, without being full in any way. The food was good, but the service was really poor. It took over 25 minutes from the time we were seated until we ended up going up to the bar and asking to be allowed to order. The waiters who were working didn't look around at all when they left, or were too busy standing and talking about everything else in the bar. After the meal it was the same, and after half an hour we went up to the bar and asked to pay. There was not much of service. The waiters we spoke to were always smiling and nice, but just not that attentive. We got smørrebrød, which was definitely the highlight. Super good, big pieces of smørrebrød, at a reasonable price.

Unfortunately there was a shortage of staff, they were under a lot of pressure. The food was as usual good, long waiting time for serving. But it's a nice place.

Had a really good brunch. Really good coffee, good eggs and a lovely experience.

we were seated without a reservation...and were reminded so...more than once. the florentz omelet was the winner of our group outstanding taste and texture. the american pandecakes were a close runner up. light & fluffy...as good as it gets as far as cakes are concerned. just wished they were a bit larger. coffee was good...not great. menu pricing was a surprise when compared to the quality of food presented.

Really good food. Potion size perfect. Attentive staff with a focus on service.

Points for a cozy room. Points for tap water and added bubbles, and not costing a manor. But the food disappointed. A toast with avocado. It can be delicious. But it was a toast with guacomole. It's not the same taste experience at all. And I could recognize their chicken salad. Because we buy the same one in Meny. It is not good enough.

Smukt, venligt og varmt sted. Tjekkede og sympatiske tjenere. Kaffen er god, baren velassorteret. Mit nye stamsted i Roskilde!

Vi fik lækkert veltillavet smørrebrød. Hurtig betjening. Personalet er serviceminded. Og priserne er meget rimelige.
