Gastronomia Smeralda Solrød

Amazing food and nice place! The service was fast and very friendly. One of the best restaurant around the area. I would only suggest to add a changing table in the bathroom, there is enough space for it.

Rating downgraded from 5 to 3 stars, after several visits and a handfull of take-away orders. Sometimes the food is amazing others is mediocre. 3 is maybe a little harsh, but the inconsistenty makes it super hard to count as a place to go.

Excellent food and service. We've tried Smeralda Solroed every time we came to Denmark within the last 5 years, and we have never been disappointed so far: the food they served us has always been excellent, the service attentive and kind, and the atmosphere very enjoyable (with quality Italian music in the background and nice interior design mixing Italian icons with Danish minimalism). Tonight I ordered one of my favourite Belgian dishes (moules frites) and, to my surprise, the dish tasted so, so good, looked absolutely stunning (more creative and sofisticated than in Belgium even!) and was accompanied by decently tasting pommes frites (judging by Belgian standards, which are really high for this kind of dish). Besides, the portions were enormous! Well done!!

Love Smerelda everything!!! Everything is always delicious, fresh and well made. The owner and staff are friendly and nice!
