Awesome Surfer-Style Burger Shop directly behind the dike. Excellent quality and good value. Our kids (3 and 5) got a complimentary kids burger. 10/10 would recommend.

Simple beach bar with surprisingly good food. Large portions. Canned soda. Lack of carbonation for the beer tap.

Very good hamburgers, among the best in a long time.!! Lovely staff with a twinkle in their eye, go there instead of the restaurants around. Top class.!! And the location… 👏🏼👍🏼

Update 2026 Love it 😍🍻 Update Summer's End 2022: Lucky break, because we're closed for the season starting today. So, one last special burger, house lemonade, and pale ale today. Delicious food and very friendly service.

After a walk on the beach with the kids, we went to Haveje in Marielyst and had a really lovely visit. The service was very friendly, the staff spoke good English, and they gave us excellent advice. We adults each had a burger meal with fries and a drink. A particular highlight was the organic meat and the option of vegan burgers with a fermented mushroom patty – a really great umami flavor. A real highlight for us was that when we ordered an adult meal, the children got their own food for free. In our case, they had delicious chicken nuggets – that was fantastic and totally family-friendly. The food was freshly prepared, very tasty, and the portions were generous (it doesn't come across in the picture, but it was). The atmosphere was relaxed with pleasant music playing in the shade, and there's a small playground nearby. Prices were on the higher end for Denmark, but absolutely fair for the quality and portion size. Overall, a very successful visit – we'll definitely be back.
