The food was actually good and the staff were nice and wanted only the best for me. If you want something delicious to take home from the city, or just something delicious for lunch, this is your place.

June 2026 Saturday lunch. Excellent shawarma. It is similar to the 2 other shawarma places in the area, but is 5 kr. cheaper and the size was good large. You can also get cold lemonade for 20 kr. April 2026: 4 stars. Because it was more expensive than the 2 other places, but smaller. Could have done with a little more salad. But I was full. It was 8 pm on a Saturday and no queue. Unfortunately I think I will choose one of the 2 others next time, because there was a lot of bread in relation to the filling. But they were really nice behind the counter. Five years of searching for a shawarma that feels right at home (in Moscow) are finally over. This is the best shawarma in Denmark. The shawarma master asked what salad to put on it, whether it should be spicier, whether he wanted more pickles, what sauce to add (he even got two!), and he did everything quickly and professionally. The portion is huge, you won't go hungry. This isn't some hipster thimble-sized shawarma from Strøget in Copenhagen; this is where students from Aarhus need a filling and inexpensive bite before an evening out. The shawarma patrol would definitely approve of this place.

It was a small potion that wasn't that special in taste, chosen by the shawarma master further down Guldsmedgade.

3am - this is the place to go for a good old chemical shawarma / kebab and a friendly chat with similarly hammered strangers.

Great meat, home baked bread and fresh vegetables, they don't skimp on anything, so it's a seriously big roll that fills you up!
