Hos Bilal Aarhus

My first visit to Bilal. I ordered kebab in Arabic bread. It tasted great. The bread is delicious, the vegetables fresh and the meat juicy and flavorful. Maybe a little too much chili, but I guess that was my own fault 🙂 The price is reasonable and will definitely visit Hos Bilal another time the trip goes to Bazar West.

I have eaten many kebab places during my life in Kbh, Aarhus and the bigger cities around the country... but nothing comes close to Hos Bilal. It is clearly Denmark's best kebab. Their meat and dressing are in a league of their own. Plus the good, fresh ingredients. Always a good portion of meat and ingredients so that it harmonizes. Fast and good service too. Always take Turkish bread. I live approx. an hour away, and we sometimes drive all the way here just to eat at Bilal's and then drive back home - that's how you know it's an elite place. If Hos Bilal is to be even better, then they must make their own homemade Turkish bread (like Zeynos in Kbh, for example). It would lift the whole thing to an extra level, because sometimes the bread is fresh and good, other times a little dry, but absolutely nothing that spoils the overall experience. Huge recommendation from here!!!

I eat there often and their food was really good, but last couple of times I have noticed a serious change in the taste. Still okay food, but certainly nothing near what it used to be. Please bring back your old style :)

Overall nice, but disappointing that they don't make the bread themselves, which ends up dragging the roll down.
