Hotel Årslev Kro Aarhus

Stopped by for food. Everything was fantastic. Especially their crepes flambe. Highly recommended.

Great hotel with excellent service and very friendly staff. The rooms are small and cozy, the beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast had a great selection. I highly recommend it. I'd gladly stay again! ☺️☺️

Lovely hotel/inn. Neat and clean rooms. However, there are a few minuses, the first night we ate there, and the last morning we ate there. When we were going to have dinner the first night, I had ordered apple cake for dessert, and my husband and friend had ordered iced coffee and a cup of coffee respectively. They also got that, after we finally got their attention after many unsuccessful attempts. My apple cake had not arrived until the others were almost finished with their dessert, a good idea might be to bring everyone's dessert at the same time, so that we could enjoy the food together. That is not okay. Sunday morning, September 7th. They had a lot of trouble filling up the breakfast buffet. There were a lot of people but they know that. So make sure there are enough chefs to cook the food and waiters to fill it up.

Very nice hotel. The room was good, and we had a delicious dinner. Breakfast was also delicious.

Great place, great staff and great food

We visited Årslev Kro for a family weekend. The dinner was not exceptional, and it was a bit of a shame to have wild boar two nights in a row. However, three big service stars must be given to Johnny, Lars and Rikke, who provided excellent service. The breakfast was as expected. The location is a good distance from Aarhus, but it was possibly better 50 years ago, before the two motorways were built nearby?

We spent one night at the hotel before continuing on to Norway. We slept well and the breakfast was great!

We had the pleasure of visiting Årslev Kro, (while the Skanderborg Festival was going on a few kilometers away and many guests were from there) It was a really good experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and you immediately felt welcome. A particularly big plus must go to the staff. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming - always with a smile and a helpful approach, even when it was clearly busy. It was impressive to see how they maintained their calm and overview, without letting it affect the service. All in all, an experience that offered both good food and warm, professional service. We will definitely be back!

The room smelled musty (a bit like old cigarettes), the breakfast was okay but not very extensive
