Hotel Dania Silkeborg

21/09/2025: Had high expectations. And they were more than met. We enjoyed both a delicious lunch and a superb evening menu. The chef and sommelier are a fantastic team. We chose to let them put together the menu, both food and wine. The only thing we chose ourselves was the main course. Impressive and inspiringly prepared food, and when you add to that the wine is served with commitment and exceptional knowledge and even our own imports from various French chateaux. Yes, I must admit that even though my expectations were high, they were more than met. The atmosphere was so cozy and down to earth. The only complaint is that it is located in Silkeborg and I live in Randers. So you have to stay overnight when visiting. But worth the drive. Looking forward to my next visit.

23/08/2025: All in all a really good experience. Delicious food, originally prepared and without too much talk, just delicious. Large selection of wine at reasonable prices. A little trimming is needed in the small things department; toilet, space at the tables and other things, but these are small things.
