Hotel Medi Ikast-Brande

Fantastically nice room and nice food both morning and evening😀

The location is great. The bar close at 21.00, that's a bit disappointing. Also the rooms has no sound isolation, so you can hear the neighbour doing their personal business at the restroom... Clearly.. The breakfast was sub par, and for the 30-40 min we where there, no staff checked in to refill or clean. I'd say this though - it's pretty cheap and combined with the location, it makes it an alright overnight stay

Rooms are very old and, in contrast to the hotel restaurant, which is absolutely modern and chic, they are from a bygone era.

Delicious menu, really good food

I was with my husband on a boyfriend's weekend in Ikast. Simply because we had bought a Smartbox and it was one of the choices. We had actually never been to Ikast before. We dreamed of a quiet weekend in each other's company with time to talk, play games and good food. And we got that in abundance at Hotel Medi. The room was nice, plenty of space, a good soft bed, a good view of the square and a nice bathroom. The restaurant served a very delicious dinner one evening and the breakfast was really delicious. The staff did everything they could to make it a good experience and were very nice and accommodating! There was free access to the swimming pool which we used, it was within walking distance of the hotel. So was the "Strøget". The cinema was at the end of Strøget. Hotel Medi is right in the middle between the swimming pool and the cinema and it gave us peace and time to be able to walk around and just lie down at the hotel in the middle of the day and have a nap and read a book. We have talked about coming back another time when we need a nice, quiet weekend! We naturally sleep with earplugs, and we were happy with that, because there is a little noise in the hotel. But nothing we experienced as a problem or possible to avoid. You can hear when there are other people around you :-) All in all, we were more than satisfied with our stay at Hotel Medi - in the middle of Ikast.
