Hotel Medi Ikast-Brande

I was with my husband on a girlfriend's weekend in Ikast. Only because we had bought a Smartbox and that was one of the choices. We had actually never been to Ikast before. We dreamed of a quiet weekend in each other's company with time for talking, games and good food. And we got plenty of that at Hotel Medi. The room was nice, good space, good soft bed, good view of the square and a nice bathroom. The restaurant served a very delicious dinner one evening and the breakfast was really delicious. The staff did everything they could to make it a good experience and were very nice and accommodating! There was free access to the swimming pool which we used, it was within walking distance of the hotel. So did the "stroke". The cinema was at the end of Strøget. Hotel Medi is right in the middle between the swimming pool and the cinema and it gave us peace and time to be able to walk around and just lie down at the hotel in the middle of the day and take a nap and read a book. We have talked about coming again another time we need a nice, quiet weekend! We naturally sleep with earplugs, and we were happy about that, because there is a bit of noise in the hotel. But not something we experienced as a problem or possible to avoid. You can hear when there are other people around you :-) All in all, we were more than satisfied with the stay at Hotel Medi - in the middle of Ikast.

Perfect location, good food and service 👌

Service absolutely top notch. But I think the room I had was a bit shabby. The sink in the bathroom lacked a thorough cleaning. But the staff 10 out of 10, friendly, sweet, curious in a good way. Helpful at all times of the day

From 2021: Slightly tired hotel with a good bed. Beautifully decorated dining room. Good breakfast with a good selection. The service from the staff deserves a dice roll of 6 2023: The beds should be screwed together as the legs are loose. The lamp above the bed still hangs loose as in 2022. Otherwise, everything is as before. Perhaps it would have been good to have a visit from the caretaker/village host. 2024. Legs on the bed are loose. Otherwise everything as before. Good breakfast.
