Cozy place, good food, good service.

The hotel is old and cozy, although the room appeared somewhat worn, a defective shower was however quickly repaired as it was Saturday. The food is good, although I would recommend their schnitzel as the highlight of the evening menu. I had Meyer's red wine, a Burgundy, slightly fruity but with good taste, which was served tempered, which is good style. The morning buffet had a fine selection and most of it was of a good standard, but the room seems small if there are more than 3-4 people in the hallway. The reception and waiting staff are nice and helpful, they get an extra + from here, the breakfast staff are, however, on the younger side, and maybe that's why the overview wasn't quite there. Thank you for a pleasant couple of days.

Fine but old hotel. Bathroom was mediocre just like the room, bed was good. Food in the hotel average, starters quite small. We thought the breakfast buffet was excellent, plenty of choice and everything was replenished on time. Price/quality ratio could be better.

the staff is friendly, the dinner was good enough for me. I was here with my dog. for a short exhaust area I was allowed to use the backyard which was easy but still a bit strange. the only bad thing was the floors in the rooms that creak so loudly that I was ashamed to walk on them in front of the downstairs neighbors. I had the same thing with my upstairs neighbors, namely the toilet cistern leaked which made a noise all the time.

I liked food with a well-known chef, but the staff was a bit lacking. Young people Did not live up to the standard of the chef

The restaurant is definitely worth recommending. I have been here several times with guests and they are all equally impressed. The food is supremely delicious and you sometimes get the taste buds challenged with new, unknown combinations, which just makes the experience even greater. Hotel Saxkjøbing has become my regular place to eat out, both alone and with guests!

Really delicious food, good service. CAN definitely be recommended. Lunch.
