Have eaten there many times. Super nice cafe with many guests, also on weekdays, so book a table if possible.

Then it was Café Humle Chok in Silkeborg who must have reviewed their steak sandwich with sauce.. Arrived and ordered food immediately at 11.38, the food was served at the table at 12.02. Served with loose pig candies (not homemade) and a metal bowl with sauce and looks very presentable. Brioche bun is a standard bun that tastes good and is prepared as it should be. At the bottom of the bun is a lettuce leaf, I don't know what it does in a steak sandwich, I don't think it got lost, at least it makes the rest of the dish on top slide around. The steak is approx. 180 -190 grams and is nicely fried and is slightly pink in the middle, unfortunately the meat lacks flavor, of pickled products there are beetroots which taste great and have a bite, the pickled cucumbers taste like nothing, think their pickling has gone wrong. They have put in some soft onions which taste really nice, but not very many. In addition, there is remoulade, ketchup and roasted onions, which are all pre-manufactured. The sauce tasted lovely and was a little on the sweet side, but it was beautiful. Had told the waiter that there should be plenty of sauce, a standard portion of sauce came. We could hear 3 waiters standing during the entire dinner and talking about school and free time, which was actually a bit stressful. Well, the food gets 2.5 out of 5 stars because when you pay DKK 169 for such a wonderful meal, you expect everything to be made from scratch. The pickles are an ommer and the pre-made stuff should be replaced with homemade stuff. The lettuce must be removed. A place that is well on its way with actually ok food but at too high a price in relation to the quality. There are significantly better steak sandwiches in Silkeborg, as you can see from my other reviews.

We had such a delicious meal, friendly staff, food was super tasty, everything fresh, this is also professional. Definitely recommended, cozy atmosphere. I don't often give ***** but this one really deserved it.

Humlechok has now been around for many years, but is still a good experience. The service is friendly and efficient. The selection on the menu means that everyone can find something. However, we waited a little long to get ours (35 min), but on a summer Saturday, for dinner, it's probably not so bad.

Delicious food and good service... worth a visit

Nice place. Tapa dish was delicious. Main course, mixed grill was good - meat a bit dry. Food sharing was no problem. Friendly staff
