Jenners Seaside Greve

Food was great, our waiter was a bit unfriendly. Really weird about us sharing food (like me trying my partners food just out of curiosity, it seemed to agitate him?) and drinks (didn't allow us to order a single drink to share). Also constantly trying to sell us stuff, not just the standard amount of suggestions, but like he was pushing for us to get another drink, a dessert (the most expensive one of course), and seemed unhappy when we got the cheapest dessert (which was our preference). Food itself, again, was really good. The other waiting staff was very nice, but he seemed to be one of the main waiters.

Nice and beautiful terrace by the water, didn't eat.

Upon arrival, we stood there for a while waiting to be greeted. When the waiter finally came to us, the first thing he said was: “Have you booked a table?” We hadn’t, and even though the restaurant was relatively empty at the time, we got the feeling that there was a problem. The waiter had to check to see if there was even a free table, and came back shortly after and showed us to one. Unfortunately, it didn’t give the best first impression, and our waiter generally didn’t seem to be having his best day at work. The service lacked a bit of warmth and friendliness. The food was nice, but nothing to really impress. Among other things, we got shooting stars, where the fried fish was a bit too crispy for our taste. All in all, an okay experience, but both the welcome, the service and the food could have been a level higher.

Really good food and beautiful location on the harbor

The food is good, but they should be a little more at work. Answers like “I don't have time now”, “some others have waited much longer than you” and “You can't stand here and pay, we actually work here”, both to us and the table next to us, don't make it particularly pleasant. Completely full for a weekday lunch, so spend a little more on staff and a good experience.

Fantastic food experience. Highly recommended.

I would recommend the fish fillet.
