Jumbo bakery, Ankersgade Aarhus

Nice coffee, delicious cake, only downside is poor acoustics in the coffee shop

Each trip to Aarhus, Jumbo Bakery is a must visit for me! The sourdough buns are…. So so so so good. Perfect texture: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their cheese are full of flavour!

Such a fab bakery, and lovely place to try my first BMO (Bolle Med Ost - bun with cheese). I’ve been to another Jumbo down by the water and the library so was expecting good things. Great oat milk latte and friendly, helpful server. The pastries looked awesome too: the croissants had incredible lamination. There was only one person serving so it took a little longer but the vibe is chilled, calm and friendly, and well worth it to sit in the sun with great food and coffee.

Great products but hands down the slowest service in town. If you wanna charge this much for bread at least make sure to be staffed accordingly.
