Review: Good sushi – but with takeaway service and high prices I rate this sushi place as a takeaway place and not as a restaurant. Therefore, I rate it based on the quality of the food, the price and how well it works for takeaway – not as an overall restaurant experience with atmosphere and service. I never give higher than 4 stars for takeaway places, as 5 stars are reserved for extraordinary restaurant experiences. I have tried many different sushi places – both takeaway and restaurants – and this is actually one of the places I have visited several times, despite the fact that I live in the area and have many other options during my daily life. That says something about the quality. The food itself is really nice – a little above standard. The taste is like many other places, but the selection is large, and they are quick to get the food ready, which makes it easy and convenient. That is why I give 4 stars for the food. But unfortunately the service and atmosphere drag down significantly. You almost feel like you're getting your food thrown at you – without a welcome, without a smile, without any kind of personal contact. I understand that it can be busy, but it honestly feels like a “next in line” experience, and that makes you less inclined to support the place – even though the food is good. It's a shame, because it drags down the overall impression. They actually have a larger selection than many classic sushi takeaway places, and they should be commended for that. But the lack of friendliness and the high prices mean that I can't give them 4 stars overall. At those prices, I'd rather sit down at a real restaurant – and that's why I'll continue to categorize the place as a takeaway place, despite their ambitions.

Delicious sushi. But service when picking up the food wasn't great.

Me and my friends, chose to try Kaku sushi, as we all love sushi. Kaku sushi was a really good place, the food tasted really good, there is a really big selection of their dishes. I would recommend taking alibitum, so you can try a little bit of everything. The thing that is a let down with them is that you can't get a soda that is bigger than 25 cl. There were 4 of us and we ended up buying 11 drinks because of the sizes. The service was a bit tame, the waiters weren't very welcoming. But all in all, a really good place

It was my first time eating there and I would say that their food is of high quality and has a rich variety compared to other sushi places we've been. We really enjoyed it! Would def visit again.
