Edit again: This time the food was so bad that it now becomes 1 star. The chicken was burnt, the dish tasted like cheap sweet and sour sauce. We ended up throwing it out. Edit 2026: have had to remove the 5 stars to 3, the food is now served in small portions and the prices are more expensive. Can recommend café rica instead. Original review from 2024 Simply such a cozy and good experience you always get at Kokken og Wokken in Skanderborg. The food is always delicious, the staff friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere cozy. I can recommend eating on site rather than ordering takeaway as the food is much tastier when it has not been packaged.

A somewhat simple place, but with excellent service and really good food at extremely reasonable prices. I like to eat here 3-4 times a year.

My favorite is definitely the chicken bowl. Five stars from here. Probably tested twenty times. Kind regards Ernst Mortensen

Really nice place! The food is top notch, the service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. When was the last time you had Pad Thai for under 100 kr.? Highly recommended – I'll be back! 🙏
