I had been planning this visit for a long time and after visiting a few other Chinese restaurants in Jutland I was excited about Konge Buffet in Viborg. We hadn't booked a table but there was a place next to the beautiful aquariums. We came on Saturday at 7pm and it was full and at 7.30pm it was much quieter. Good Sushi, good buffet and good Mongolian where the latter was delivered to our table no. 35 by a robot. Good ice cream bar and fruit for dessert. Lovely restaurant music in the background and just nice and cozy. can definitely be recommended. It is the best Chinese restaurant I have visited.

Really good experience. There was plenty to choose from and it's nice to have free coffee and ice cream with the buffet.

11/05/2026: 329,- for a three-course meal is cheap and it tastes okay, but it is not gourmet food. The pancake batter is the same whether it is a starter, main course or dessert. The ingredients taste like they were bought as cheaply as possible and there is no wow experience. The dessert was the best, it also tasted like a pancake with two large ice cream scoops in it, as if it was ordered in a car cafe, where you can't get it, though.
21/04/2026: Went to a meeting at the inn, where we were served 3 pancakes for lunch. There was nothing that made us want to visit again

01/12/2025: We were there on a Sunday for lunch. Very inattentive service. The young waitress was more busy folding napkins than keeping an eye on the tables. Leftovers from the main course were not removed before dessert, we had to ask for that ourselves. The food was ok, but for the price it was too simple. Different types of food on a slice of toasted sourdough bread is not good enough for a bistro that wants to be at the higher end. We had to wait over half an hour for dessert because the ice cream had to be made first (!). That shows a sense of quality, but completely unacceptable for what should have been a quick lunch. And no message from the waitress that it would take some time, for example. All in all, an unimpressive and lackluster experience, and unfortunately there are other places we will spend our money next time.
