I’m in love with all the pastries available here and even though I didn’t tried the bread, I’m pretty sure is excelent. They also sell coffee beans from their own roastery.

Denmark has more amazing bakeries than one could count. And Aarhus has several great ones. La Cabra Bakery still manages to stand out from the others. The bread is the best in the city and the pastries are near perfection.

Whenever we are in Denmark (no matter where!) we make sure to drop by and fill our bags with rolls, cardamom rolls and cinnamon buns. It’s totally with the detours.

Excellent bakery La Cabra Bakery, ideally located in the city center of Aarhus, a very nice Danish city to visit. Their breads and pastries are simply irresistible, fresh and made on site. Success is measured by the line (all the way outside), but luckily the service is fast and efficient – ​​definitely worth the wait! Special mention for the cardamom roll, one of the best I have tasted in Denmark. If you're in Aarhus, don't miss La Cabra Bakery for a great breakfast or snack! An essential address for lovers of good bakeries.

17/01/2025: For andet år i træk leverer Restaurant Europa en suveren oplevelse med helt igennem hjemmelavet mad. Det gør altså en stor forskel.
31/12/2024: If you want to dine on traditional Danish dishes, there is no way around stopping here. The best oven-grilled pork belly slices I've ever eaten, so crispy, juicy and tasty, served with the traditional beetroot, boiled potatoes and parsley sauce. A great interaction. The price-performance ratio is completely consistent, if you don't get enough you can also get a second helping. The European team enchants the guests with their friendly and relaxed manner! You feel very welcome! Thank you for the fantastic food and the wonderful times with you!
