Really nice bread and service, but the place needs an overhaul of cleaning and painting as the walls in the cafe area and toilet are very dirty and there are cobwebs on the air conditioning and in the corners, so the place does not invite you to eat there.

I was standing on Nordre Strandvej in Risskov with 16 guests. The place I had booked was closed and turned off. I approached the Lagkagehuset...and I must say....a fantastic experience. An embrace of my challenge and my guests. Emma showed the greatest compassion and they immediately set about collecting tables/chairs. Made a plan for ordering and serving. Instead of a planned birthday, I got a warm feeling of service and understanding. Everything worked and my guests thought Emma and the girls gave us a terrific, fun and different day. Thanks for the coffee girls...and all you did for my company.

Lagkagehuset is an excellent place in terms of space and service. One could perhaps wish for a little more of the craftsmanship, which most of all seems like "exclusive bakeoff".

The Old Irish Pub

08/05/2025: Nice pub. A bit deserted in the afternoon. In good weather you can sit outside. You can also do that in bad weather, but then it's not very nice :-)
16/03/2025: The Old Irish Pub is undoubtedly a popular place to watch football, and when Liverpool play, the atmosphere is often at its best. It seems the place attracts a large group of dedicated Liverpool fans, which creates a great atmosphere, especially during big games. With good screens, cold drinks and lots of football talk among the guests, it is a perfect choice for football enthusiasts.

21/04/2025: Great food, great service and fast. 2 stars for atmosphere isn't for the business itself, it's the general Street Food market
03/04/2025: EXCELLENT FOOD I have had food here several times. And I am never disappointed. The menu is not large - but sufficient taking into account all the other restaurants at the Århus Street Food area. They specialize in Duck burgers. And I am crazy about it - absolutely so tasty. For me, this is a must to try when at the Århus Street Food area. I know the Spicy Duck with cheese is 100 DKK - but I think it is worth it.
