We had a fantastic evening at Les Jeunes. 7 courses where we were surprised and wildly impressed every time. Well-composed flavors and visual impressions. Well-organized, knowledgeable service and a well-composed wine menu. Les Jeunes supposedly means “The Young”, but their cuisine is not “beginner” at all. They punch far above their weight class. The food is top notch. The atmosphere and service were fine, but not particularly personal and cozy.

Really cozy place right by Viborg train station. Nice and unpretentious with a nice atmosphere and service. We ordered a tartar and a mushroom toast. The food was ready about 25 minutes after ordering and was served nicely and stylishly on a plate and just looks super appetizing. The tartar is served on a crispy homemade sourdough bread and it tastes great. The hand-cut tartar that has been dipped in kimchi melts in your mouth, together with the pickled mustard grains and beech hats the whole thing becomes just a flavor explosion in your mouth. The mushroom toast is the same flavor explosion that goes up to a higher level. One cost DKK 160 and the other DKK 165. Worth every penny. You should eat here for the experience and the flavor nuances and not the portion sizes. We are thrilled. 5-5 stars. Thank you
