Impressively good food, we had different fish dishes, everything was fresh and delicious. We had a wine menu that went perfectly with the different dishes. The service was competent. The place is quite small but very cozy. I will come back again.

Food made with love and care and it shows. One of the best meals I've wver had. Unpretentious but intelligently put together with absolutely heavenly flavour profiles built from locally sourced ingredients. Charming decor, charming owner, faultless!

The celery root and mussels appetizer with fermented ramps is something I will never dreaming about for a long time. I’ve had a lot of fine food around the world but the balance and harmony of flavors in that dish sits along the top. Tarragon sauce. Toothsome little diced celery root, umami from the ramps and mussels, lightly bitter crunch from the pickled roots and fresh sprouts. Divine. The butter whipped with seasonal ramps was also a delight, lovely balance of creamy and tangy.
The main chicken dish was not as well composed and artfully balanced as the starter, more in the tradition of hearty country French fare, but still good eats.

Really delicious. Was for the Sunday menu. The food in top for the very reasonable price of 595 kr for 5 courses and 3 glasses of wine. Beautifully presented and really inspiring. The wine all the same organic and interesting.
Have been to the restaurant several times with a gap of years. They deliver every time!
Can only recommend.

Oh, how delicious it was. I have never tasted such well-cooked cabbage. Kale, palm cabbage and silver beetroot. And a piece of venison as tender as butter. Good wines, formidable service - so many impressive times our waiter was down in a deep squat to look us in the eye - impressive to see for me, who has worn out knees. And that shows a great commitment to the guests. Anyway, he served in the best way, and we got Michelin food at a price that is affordable for ordinary incomes. There were two of us, who got a starter, main course, two glasses of wine each, shared a dessert, coffee and dessert wine. It came to 1,550 kr. I will definitely be back in the summer. And I forgot to say how cozy the decor is at L’estragon.

Perfect. The food is absolutely top notch – really well thought out and delicious. Rich and good flavors, as well as perfectly matched wine and juice. The service is super polite. We will definitely be back!
