Over the summer we like to come by Lybystrand several times, and every time it is a fantastic experience - both in terms of taste and service! That's why we were completely confident when we chose Lybystrand to prepare the food and provide the chef and waiters for our recently held wedding. EVERYTHING was absolutely fantastic, Lybystrand first came up with a superb menu proposal, after meeting with us and talking about our thoughts and wishes. For the party itself, they had the food and the service completely under control, and we haven't had a single guest who hasn't praised the food and the waiters! When the kitchen was finished with theirs, everything was tidied up and cleaned, so it looked better when they arrived. A huge recommendation to have your company with Lybystrand, we will definitely keep it in mind for our next party! And continue to visit the cozy restaurant. Lybystrand - thank you so much for you and the great effort at our party, helped to make it completely unforgettable!

Visited this lovely place yesterday, where we had roast pork and parsley sauce. Lovely relaxed owner who is very service-minded and seems keen to ensure that you have a good experience - 5 stars for that. I would give the dish 4 stars. The sauce is important and in my opinion it tasted more of nutmeg than parsley and maybe that is why the color of the sauce was more beige than white. The pork slices were on the thick side, but that has nothing to do with the taste and it tasted delicious. We will definitely come again.

Today it is Resturant Lybystrand in Salling that will have tested their steak sandwich with sauce. Arrived at 13.58 and a nice table was found for us with a lovely view of the fjord despite it being full of guests and busy. We ordered the food at 14.07 and drinks came quickly, so we could enjoy the beautiful view, here it is indeed beautiful both with the view and in the restaurant. The food was served at the table exactly at 14.30 and the first thought was that it looked delicious and appetizing and super delicious that the sauce is served in a bowl on the side so it stays warm and you can pour it over the steak sandwich yourself. The bun is a delicious quality brioche bun that is perfectly toasted, a little hard on the outside and soft on the inside. The top bun is smeared on the inside with a little homemade ketchup and the bottom bun is smeared with a delicious homemade remoulade that tastes great. There are home-pickled beets that taste wonderful and there is a nice amount, there are also home-pickled water lilies (pickled cucumbers) that also taste wonderful and wonderfully sour, they could perhaps be a little thicker. There are lovely home-made roasted onions that are perfect, as well as lovely soft onions that are absolutely sweet. To add a little crunch, there are some fresh red onions and in the middle of the animal they have done something cheeky, namely put a layer of home-made French potatoes, a great idea that works like I have not tried before. Somewhere some mustard has crept in and it bites and is a little crunchy, but not too much. It is perfect. The steak is a story in itself, I don't know where the meat comes from, but it tastes of quality and it is flavorful, perfectly seasoned. The steak weighs 180-200 grams and it is cooked PERFECTLY, pink in the middle and with a delicious crust THAT'S how it should be done. The sauce is plentiful, it is warm and tastes divine, it has a slight sweetness to it and a depth and flavor that is worthy of the ingredients. It also comes with fries and it is unnecessary, you can't eat them anyway. Paid DKK 179.- for this portion of delicious food and must say that over the past few years I have eaten my way through more than 100 steak sandwiches all over Denmark and this one is clearly at the top where you get really delicious food made with love and at a fair price. But serve fries in a bowl on the side if they are going to be there so the steak sandwich looks more. But gosh it is delicious, thanks for the food. 5-5 stars.
