This cozy family-run restaurant is worth a visit for everyone! - it doesn't matter if you are a couple, a family with children or going out to eat with your company. At Lyng Dal you feel like you are the most important guest when you come! I have never experienced such personal service anywhere else and at the same time the food is absolutely excellent.

Absolutely fantastic tasty food, made from scratch. We had a wine menu and a drinks menu, both of which complemented the food perfectly. The drinks menu was the best I've ever tasted, so well matched to the food. What a huge job collecting and producing some truly unique juice and their kombucha was the icing on the cake. No doubt about the place's passion for both food and drink. The staff was extremely service-minded, competent and made us feel very, very welcome We stayed in a lovely and very clean room, with a nice view of the protected heather hills. Thank you so much for a thoroughly lovely experience. We will definitely be back. See you again Hanne and Hans Erik

We have been to Lyng Dal several times now, and every time we are just so happy with the food, wine and kambucha we are served. It is all top quality which is worth much more than 5 stars. The service is present and top professional, the atmosphere is cozy and everything is just good. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

The hotel and restaurant are both 5 Star. Quaint small hotel with extremely accommodating staff. The restaurant has the most exquisite cuisine by what I could assume is a Michelin chef. My daughter had her wedding reception there last weekend and we could not have been more impressed. If you are ever in that area, please give them a look.

We had dinner at the restaurant. And what a lovely and complete experience. Really cozy rooms and good service. A large selection of wine (and beer), which our waiter knew a lot about. And not least really delicious food with a focus on taste and fresh ingredients. An exquisite balance between the different flavors and textures in all dishes. Five big stars from here!

12/10/2025: Attended a meeting here and ate roast pork with parsley sauce and potatoes. Fully lived up to expectations if you're into that kind of thing.

17/12/2025: Was at a wedding party with an overnight stay at Knudhule beach hotel, and I must say that it has my warmest recommendations. The food was amazing, our waiter was great even though she was there for over 12 hours. Smiling and kept an eye on whether anyone was missing anything, without disturbing the party. The wine list that the bride and groom had chosen was exquisite, and since there were some rather special wines on it, we got a quick overview of them at the start of the dinner. Here it was clear that the staff knows what things are served, where they are from, and can convey this further, so that the experience becomes even more exquisite and special. The room we stayed in was super nice - clean and neat.
15/11/2025: Delicious food and great company we were there we would love to go there again
