Hand-cut, cold, old-fashioned pork roast!! Machine-cut into millimeter-thin slices.
The waiter seemed really pissed off, but a polite, sweet young guy served the food. The place is full of charm and a cozy atmosphere.
Cozy place. The food was ok. They have cut down on the amount of food on their plates though. The pork roast a bit thin and dry. But otherwise it was ok. The service was fine. Special praise to Mrs. Munch who always provides good service. Mr. Munch is a bit of a noob though and could learn from Mrs. Munch.
We had a lunch platter. Average quality. The bread, however, was very delicious and freshly baked.
The surroundings were quite pleasant.
Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. One of the employees was swearing and rude to the guests. We will not be back.

Malerklemmen, in the middle of the Danish woods, could be considered a " hidden gem" - it sure is almost hidden among the green spring foliage, and it is close to being a gem, considering the lovely atmosphere in the many different rooms, the quality of the Danish open sandwiches, the cold beer and soft drinks, and the many different old items of Danish origin decorating the ceilings and walls. Before or after a hearty lunch, take a walk among the small lakes and woods in the neighbourhood.
