MASH Aarhus

I have to say that this place was a bit of a disappointment. My boyfriend and I were going to eat here tonight for my birthday on 11/9, and were really looking forward to it. We were warmly welcomed and treated well by the sweetest waiter who was our waiter for pretty much the entire evening. Nice presentation of the menu, and you can tell the staff is well trained and cares about their products. Unfortunately, I have to admit that the food was below the standard of what I expect from a steakhouse in that price range. I asked for medium, and I got well-done. My boyfriend was supposed to have medium-rare and his was almost inedible raw. Also, the sides we went with were nothing to write home about, they were incredibly boring. Also, the sauce (we both chose bearnaise), which was far too acidic in taste, so we didn't really eat it. Also, I had ordered a side that I never got. I think it is a duty for a restaurant of this caliber to take its guests seriously and to serve what the customers ask for and that the food is delivered in the right way within the guests' preferences. The price does not match the quantity and quality at all, which is a real shame, since the service was otherwise fine? And that you can tell that they have tried to make something cool out of the concept. In addition, there was a lot of noise and the acoustics in the room were very noisy. It was difficult to talk to each other despite the fact that we were of course sitting directly across from each other. A shameful experience, and especially for the money. Here I would always rather recommend KöD in Aarhus, which has much better food that matches the price, where they also have a super sweet staff who have things under control. MASH was a one-off performance, and we will not be back.

Very delicious and unique experience

Um….bit disappointed, everyone was hyping the place up but it didn’t blow my socks off or anything, just standard steak cooked very well, very pricey imo.

We arrived late due to delays with flight. No problem to still order food, service was brilliant and food delicious.

Food was exceptional we had a table of 6 with a mix of entries mains and deserts all absolutely magnificent. Wines selection was fantastic as well. Service staff well versed with the menu. Would love to be able to return for many beautiful meals

Lovely restaurant at Aahrus … We tried 🥩 beef stake , chicken 🐔 and salmon 🍣 grill … was very well made to perfection Staffs are very polite and good The restaurant is clean and having nice ambiance…. Price is higher side ..,,

Had heard about the restaurant from our daughter, so now it was finally our turn to have the whole experience. The arrival and reception at the restaurant alone, testifies that here they pay attention to the details. There is a regular man who stands outside the restaurant and opens the door and welcomes you. Nothing is left to chance when you are explained about both starters, main courses and wine and more. There is a really cozy atmosphere, and they have a huge insight into what wines go with the food you order. We had the most delicious tartar and carpaccio for a starter. As a main course we had the world tour and side dishes, where they came to the table and showed the 3 different types of meat that we were supposed to have. Our steak was carved at the table, and we got another explanation about what we were going to taste. It was perfectly cooked and with the most amazing flavors. We finished with Kentucky coffee, which was also an experience. It was a meal and an experience on the more expensive end, but the price is definitely worth it for the quality of it all. I have never had such good food and wine as I did at Mash. I will definitely be back for even more experiences and amazing food.

Everyone left here full and happy. Super delicious meat as always and lovely sides. 1/3 full on a Wednesday night.
