The steaks and sides are ok, but underseasoned and the service is slightly pretentious. And the acoustics are bad. Not worth the money

There were two of us, and we ordered a total of 600 grams of meat from three different countries for DKK 2,000, and we were looking forward to a great experience in the restaurant in Aarhus. That you have to pay extra for potatoes and other side dishes, and even extra for sauce, you can live with when everything has to be good. But then the fame must also be good. And we unfortunately found that most of the meat was average, and some even almost inedible. The last steak was ice cold. We were hoping to get a tip for a wine to go with the meat experience, but although the wine was supposedly okay, it was clear that the waiter was guessing as well as we could have done ourselves. Coffee and brandy were free as compensation for the disappointing meat experience, and that's fine. But of course we would rather have had the good food experience. That you have to go into the neighbor's basement to go to the toilet, and can only get back to the restaurant by guessing where to enter a code that you have to memorize... or go out the neighbor's exit, along the sidewalk in shirt sleeves, and reentering the restaurant's entrance, does not help the good experience. On top of that, we were asked to pay twice, even though we could show that the amount had been withdrawn from our account the first time. The restaurant did not believe that the payment had gone through. Only after a longer discussion, where we had to hear about their doorman's ability to catch the guests who left without paying, were we able to leave the experience and return home. It is not certain that we will come again...

Really good food, good service... but terrible acoustics, we could hardly hear what each other was saying, and the staff clearly had a hard time with it too. So for us it was not worth the money.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Food is beautifully prepared, service is outstanding.. great wine list and the MASH Pils is a tasty start to dinner for this "beer guy". Crisp, light and refreshing! Tried the filet after a 18 hours of traveling day and to say I was impressed would underwhelm the bliss this cut of meat cooked to perfection was. I would highly recommend giving this place a visit, this is clearly the standard you expect with high end steakhouses.
